Now that we all have our own personal blogs at Stackzilla, I wanted to share with you the story of my brilliant rise to the top of the poker world! Yes, I have been quite modest, quite silent, however, I would not feel right if I didn't give you the inside scoop behind all the incredible calls and decisions that you may have seen on television or even YouTube. I know what you are thinking, (as I would at the tables), you are thinking that not many professionals on my level would ever really offer you such a sneak peak behind the makings... However, I think you will find how down to Earth I am! Now let me tell you of the time... Where to begin? The first time for anything usually doesn't live up to what we later believe to be standard. Unless of course it's the first time you flop the nutz or land yourself a royal. Of course there are a lot of other "positive" first things, but then my intro wouldn't flow as nicely as it does. Perhaps inadequate "flow" may be the underlying reason for poor online play thus thrusting me to the upper echelon of online players!
Certainly I would never make such a claim if it I felt it unsubstantiated . If there be any varying data streaming the web somewhere proving otherwise one need only to understand that ever since my head to head Battle vs. Phil Helmuth, where I punished him with 2-7 off suit, the Poker Brat Pack has been threatening my life.... If I can remember it right, it went something like this....

Some of his professional buddies have since told me that he has yet fully recovered from what he call's "The Worst Played Hand in the History of Poker". I personally heard about him recovering in a small brothel outside of El Paso where an old "associate" of mine , Estella, said "He has spent most of his time pretending to be a cowboy and playing euchre for lemon heads." I cannot promise all of you faithful and diligent readers that you will find some "King Midas" touch through the thorough examination of my patented methods and priceless strategies. At least not until after the "soon to be announced" Big Money Book and Movie deal (looks like either straight to dvd or bollywood). However, I will offer for those able to decode the layered gems I shall weave within pixels and php, an insight into the world of poker as seen by Saif! Therefore I suggest, if you ever decide to read any further entries please use your own competent discretion. For those brave enough to come back, I do have more... Article by Bryan Dougherty |
